In Lozova there is a noticeable shortage of doctors of various specialties. The local medical association has proposed that future school graduates study at medical universities at the expense of the local budget, with subsequent employment.
The Need for Doctors
The head of the territorial medical association, Yuriy Shevchenko, emphasized that about 40 doctors of various specialties are still needed, including neurologists, pediatricians, neonatologists, surgeons, and traumatologists.
Support Program for Young Specialists
The program to support young specialists involves paying for a contract from the local budget after the graduate enters a medical university for the required specialty in Lozova. After graduating from university, young doctors are provided with housing, and funds are allocated from the budget for its repair. The medical institution also provides resources to support young specialists.
Shevchenko noted that the community has completely renovated maternity, neurological, and pediatric departments, and currently, the rehabilitation department is under renovation.
