Gas Explosion Incident in Chmelnyzkyi
In Chmelnyzkyi, a gas explosion incident occurred in an apartment, as a result of which a man born in 1978 received burns and was hospitalized. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The incident took place on June 22 on the first floor of a multi-storey building on Roman Shukhevych Street. The call about the explosion was received by the Rescue Service «101» after noon, after which an emergency team was sent to the scene.
According to preliminary information, the cause of the explosion was a gas leak from a household gas cylinder. The man with burns was hospitalized to the Chmelnyzkyi Regional Hospital to receive necessary medical assistance.
Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation to establish the circumstances of the incident.
