Injuries Reported After Minibus Driver Crashes Into Parked Truck in Odesa
In Hadyachivskyi district of Odesa, a minibus driver crashed into a parked truck with a semi-trailer, resulting in injuries to himself and 12 passengers.
The accident on July 20 was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa region. It is reported that the accident occurred in the morning at the intersection of Hrushevskyi and Khutorska streets.
Preliminary information suggests that while driving towards the center of Odesa, the minibus driver suddenly felt unwell, causing him to lose control and crash into the parked truck with a semi-trailer on the right lane, police said.
«It is known that 12 passengers and the driver of the public transport sought medical help. All of them sustained varying degrees of bodily injuries,» the statement said.
According to the police, the injured minibus driver will be tested for intoxication.
